Health Advise Needed.

if your sister and brother died of cancer and now your body is starting to show all the effects of the disease, would you want to know even if it might mean a death-sentence?.

my dad, sister, brother and now mom will die from this ugly disease, all of them had aggressive forms of stomach cancer, my mother's battliing it has me putting my health on the back burner because i am very obstinate and hate doctors, why should i go see a doctor if the last four people i loved all died of cancer once they got their dx?.

Get checked and get your head out of the sand. The sooner cancer is detected the better your outcome. Life is too short don't make yours shorter. If it was a disease that they can't do anything for it would be a personal choice I'd say.

i posted this in a thread but perhaps it needs to be on its own so that it doesn't take over the other thread.

most people who have lived in a cult or high control group such as the jws will experience many of the symptoms of complex post-traumatic stress disorder (c-ptsd).. complex post-traumatic stress disorder.

Have you used dropbox? Have you had any problems?

there is a certain user to whom i suggested using dropbox, and the user said he had problems with it, that his computer ended up full of game advertisements.. please, to those who have used dropbox before, can you give your honest evaluation of dropbox?.

i am trying to convince this user that i did not suggest to him something that was bad, but actually good... that it helps to share huge files, no matter what their size.. .

please tell this user... i don't want to lose this user's trust.. .

i sometimes join discussion groups.

the witnesses do get mentioned.

i try to make it humorous but some bitterness seeps through.

I agree with Ding. I had a fellow nurse that was a JW. I would just say "thinking" things from time to time. My workmates all knew I am an ex-jw so told them to not tell him. He went to Bethel :(

it's time for the next chapter in my life.

on friday, jan. 31, i will be 67 years old.. the contract job i was working ended in july, 2013. it was a plus money wise for my pension and social security.

i worked for an engineering firm at the same company that i was with for 30 years.. thankfully i never listened to the wtbts about quiting my job to pioneer or other bs stuff.
